Fat Cat’s fiberglass hulls and caps are hand laid using composite construction with no wood. The goal is to keep the boat lightweight while maintaining strength and durability.
Built Around You
A Fat Cat does not have to look or perform exactly like everyone else’s boat. Customers can choose from custom paint, rigging, seating, T-tops, electronics, lighting, stereo systems, and other options.
Born on the Texas Coast
Fat Cat’s roots come from years spent fishing the Texas Gulf Coast. That experience helped shape the company’s goal: build fishing platforms for people who share the same passion for being on the water.

Built From a Passion for Fishing
Fat Cat’s story begins on the Texas Gulf Coast. Years spent fishing piers, surf, bays, and coastal waters helped create an understanding of what anglers actually need from a boat.
That experience eventually became the foundation for Fat Cat Boatworks: combining fishing knowledge with fabrication, tooling, rigging, and performance-focused design to create boats made for serious time on the water.
